I am so glad you have joined us
I have wanted to create something like this for about 2 years now
But honestly I have either been too scared
Or something in my life has knocked my confidence
and I have made an excuse
A whole of excuses and not done it

I have met so many amazing people I have read for and with
Who have given me the inspiration to go ahead and create this
I see so many of you with untapped "Matekite" skills
the Maori word that describes a seer, intuitive, psychic, healer
I see glimpses of these
And I love it
And I want more people to know and experience themselves as this
"Matekite"
It's so very empowering
I didn't find my teachers until later in my mid 30's
I am nearly 53 years old now
And even then I had to connect to them through their books
Or travelling to Australia and America to train with them
Not through online communities
This was kept hush hushed and very quiet in my family and hugely in my culture
The Maori Culture until recently
But that is a whole other story
Which I will write about here later on
Anyhow I really want this to become normalised
As a way of living
That we do not hand our power, inner knowing, intuition over to someone else
or something else
The Church pastor, a Parent, a Teacher, husband or partner
That we understand it, harness it and run with it !

I am so glad you are here !
I am a Maori Psychic Medium living in beautiful Northern New Zealand. I will be sharing my life experiences here in the hope that you can relate and understand yourself more. And feel at home with your Spiritual gifts.
I grew up in the 70'- and 80's in New Zealand as a young Maori woman who was told to be as white as possible to fit in. The many effects of colonisation. My Grandparents and Great Grandparents had been beaten for speaking our native Maori language and practicing our Maori Medicine.
I knew and felt spirit, my ancestors and guides from a very young age. I had to keep this very quiet, although as my school friend (when we were 8 years old) will tell you I was constantly in dialogue with them. She was the only person I could share these experiences with. I was lucky then to have at least one person close to me that understood.
It was a very lonely experience growing up with these "abilities" and having no Elders around to support me in my gifts. Constantly ...
